This Privacy Policy describes how and when I collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from me, contact me, or otherwise use my services through Etsy.com or its related sites and services.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that I do not own or control, including Etsy or any third party services you access through Etsy. You can reference the Etsy Privacy Policy to learn more about its privacy practices.

To fulfil your order, you must provide me with certain information (which you authorised Etsy to provide to me), such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (for a custom order of jewellery, for example), if you contact me directly.

Why I Need Your Information and How I Use It

I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:

* as needed to provide my services, such as when I use your information to fulfil your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;

* when you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time, such as by signing up for my mailing list;

* as necessary for the purpose of my legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as 1) providing and improving my services. I use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest to improve my services; and 2) Compliance with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use. I use your information as necessary to comply with my obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

Etsy. I share information with Etsy as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.

Service providers. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

Business transfers. If I sell or merge my business, I may disclose your information as part of that transaction, only to the extent permitted by law.

Compliance with laws. I may collect, use, retain, and share your information if I have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others.

Data Retention

I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my Privacy Policy. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for the following time period: 4 years.

Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU

I may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If I am deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, I rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google Cloud is Privacy Shield certified.

Your Rights

If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. I describe these rights below:

Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below.

Object. You can object to (i) my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.

Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.

Frequently Asked Questions

How to Choose the Right Size Bracelet?

*Your bracelet size is not the same as your wrist size*

You can measure a bracelet you already own, or use a soft measuring tape to determine your wrist’s size. Alternatively, use a ribbon or strip of paper to drape around your wrist then simply lay flat and measure to determine your wrist’s size. When you have used one of these methods to calculate your wrist size add ½ – 1 inch (1.5cm – 2.5cm) depending on how snug or loose you would like your bracelet to fit. Use this final measurement to select the ideal size bracelet.

If your preferred size is not listed, please contact me so we can discuss your requirements in more detail.

What is 14k Gold/Rose Gold Filled?

"Gold/Rose Gold filled" is the best alternative to solid gold and has 100% more gold than gold plate. comprises a solid layer of gold (14k) permanently bonded to a base metal. It is very hard wearing and with normal wear the gold will not peel or flake, unlike gold plate.

When Will My Order Ship?

Most items are made to order and will be shipped within 1-3 days of ordering.

For UK Orders, your jewellery will be shipped with Royal Mail "1st Class Signed For" - please note that a signature will be required upon delivery.

International Tracked & Insured Shipping is Free when you spend £85.00 & orders are sent;

• Royal Mail Tracked & Signed, where available, or;
• Royal Mail International Tracked, for countries where both Signed & Tracked are unavailable.

Returns & Refunds

We want you to love your jewellery but if for any reason you wish to return it we will provide a refund.

Please contact us within 14 days of receipt and return the item within 21 days, unworn, undamaged and in the original packaging.

Please ensure that the parcel is adequately protected and we would suggest that tracked/recorded postage is used as we cannot be held liable for items lost in the post.

If you are returning an item from outside the UK, you will need to complete a Customs Declaration form. It is important that the form is marked as "Returned Item" to avoid customs fees being charged when entering the UK. Any customs charges incurred will be deducted from the refund.

We are unable to refund original postage costs.

Custom and personalised orders

We are unable to accept returns if the item purchased is a custom order.

A custom order is any item that has been designed especially for you, to your own requirements or where an existing product is modified beyond the options in the original listing.

As these items are made to your exact specifications, we are unable to refund, cancel or exchange these orders, unless faulty.

How To Care For Your Jewellery

We want your jewellery to remain as special to you as the day you bought it. To maintain the quality of your new Saturnalia jewelry, please:

* Do not wear it to the swimming pool, spa, or the beach
* Remove when sleeping, exercising, gardening or doing other physically strenuous activities
* Avoid contact with perfumes, body oils, and other chemicals, including household cleaners.
* Do not use chemical jewelry cleaners
* Gently polish with a soft, lint-free cloth.
* Store your jewellery in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight

What if I Order the Wrong Size?

If you find that you are not happy with the fit of the bracelet or necklace size that you select, you can send it back to me for a resizing. The resizing service is free of charge, however, buyers are required to pay for any return postage costs.

**Please note that should you require an item to be lengthened it can only be resized to the maximum length available on the original listing. If the size you require is longer than the maximum size listed, there may be an addition charge to cover the extra materials used.**

Send me a message through Etsy and I will give you instructions on where to send the jewellery to for resizing. Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of buyer.

Ethiopian Opal Jewellery

Ethiopian Opals are "hydrophane", this means that they absorb water and when they do their appearance can change. If the Opals come in contact with water, they may lose their fire temporarily and turn yellow or brown. The fire and colour usually come back once the opals have fully dried, however, this can take a day to a few weeks, depending on how much water they absorbed.

Please note that we cannot accept returns for Ethiopian Opal jewellery on the basis of a change in the Opal's appearance as this is caused by improper care and maintenance of the Opal's hydrophane nature and is not a fault in the Opals themselves.

Read our blog for further information on proper Ethiopian Opal care;
